    Therefore I'm really glad we don't have this "trials" system, forcing athletes to have two major peaks. McEvoy for now is the favorite for the men's 100m I guess, but first I'd like to see him get under 47.50 again at the Olympics. I don't think he'll break his time of this week there.

    Brzoskowski already had the qualifying standard earlier, Toussaint is a new addition Also some new names came up in the women's 200m, which could make the composition of the 4x200 interesting. The 100 free for the women was a bit disappointing in general and so was Verschuren not making the standard yet (he has one chance left at the European champs in London).
