    Apparently Tahiti has become the frontrunner to host the surfing events and Chamonix is becoming heavily considered to host the mountain bikes ones (because wink wink Chamonix 1924) I don't I like any of these

    It's already over Just like the Olympics, it went too fast Somehow, they manage to attract 10,000 spectators to the thing during the week, which is fantastic considering there were barely 10,000 people in the world that knew the sport existed. That's the power of a great mascot, right there.

    It even sounds worse than I thought. Some competitions starting not counting anymore or being downgraded for unknown or dubious reasons but only for a couple of designated nations. At that point, I also can think of national federations taking this shit to courts.
