  1. Yeah, I won't go that far, especially considering the best biathlete of the past two years is not french and that Jacquelin is still (a bit) of a wild card.
  2. It's only the first win In almost three years...
  3. I like these kind of races very tensed, indecisive up to the last shot.
  4. We only lost by 17 goals against the Netherlands. We truly deserve our 7th place in european women's water polo.
  5. Only one I could find
  6. Is there any video footage of the speed skating races in St-Moritz somewhere ? Would love to have a look at this new urban sport !
  7. Because, it not on us (or anyone else) to answer that question, but riders only.
  8. Too late...
  9. Well, NFs can push for whatever new events/disciplines they want, but any new event/discipline applications will have to be run through the international federation. So ... It's not an organizing committee stuff neither as we are not talking here about an additional sport (like your beloved paris 2024's Breakdance), but a new discipline in an already existing sport (Luge). Obviously Milan-Cortina 2026 can push also for whatever additions they want, but it's something different that what was reported....
  10. Since when national federations are asking themselves for new sports/disciplines to be included in the olympics ?...
  11. With cricket being locked down on pay channels only for the last 15 years, that sounds very unlikely...
  12. Not a great year... Anyway, l'equipe awards (which are running since 1946) are probably the closest thing to an official ranking Men (Top 5) Women (Top 5)
  13. @Gianlu33 just reminded me, there is nothing like an olympic clean sweep. So here it goes, 2014 men skicross
  14. Teddy Riner. I mean the guy only lost one fight the whole decade ant that was in 2010... Martin Fourcade as a close second.
  15. The only one to do so...
  16. This picture doesn't have much sport history attached to it, but for some reason, I'm just fucking loving it. French boxer Billy Balzac* contemplating on his defeated foe lying down on the ring (European Championship, 1920) *yes, that was his name
  19. no clean sweep, no fun
  20. And they will play for the non qualified women team on top of that !
  21. Thomas Bach urban sports* to be held on a a 30,000 seats temporary venue on Place de la Concorde *skateboarding, BMX freestyle, 3x3, breaking and climbing (plus whatever new events the'll come up with by then)
  22. Yeah, right, so nothing "usual" about that. Rio was exceptional for french boxing. Everybody knows that, whatever the reasons might be. But, to pretend that we were 'usually' benefiting from it... come the fuck on. Just check back Vastine's cases (twice...), if you don't remember him.
  23. You mean dropping it from zero in London ?
