  1. CL fo sorry became a small competition between Real and Barca , for Liverpool they'll do nothing without Coutinho
  2. I think people who blame london with organization , after watching empty seats with the same organizing problems in next edition in Doha are going to say , oh this was the best edition we've ever seen
  3. Barcelona has to really hussle on Mercato and signs Coutinho and Deybala if possible , this twitter man has to be replaced for a valuable time
  4. Real Madrid became unstoppable these days , even without Ronaldo they can beat 2 of the biggest teams in the world in only 1 week , credit to zidane he's done great job and he almost won all possible tittles with Real madrid
  5. Congrats for majd eldin Ghazzal on his bronze medal today , i think this's the biggest highlight of Syrian sport since bronze medal of Ghada Shoaa in heptathlon in wch 99 and it came in a very tight situations for Syria , also this's been one the worst high jump competitions i've ever watched
  6. overall it's been the worst competition for Egypt since 2005 , after silver medal and 7th place finish last tournament , but i think i've enjoyed every single moment of this wch and i'm really sad it came to an end for African countries , it's been a terrific tournament with 2 countries being placed 2nd and 3rd overall in medals table nothing special for Kenya , they proved again that they're a super power in athletics globally , but SA was just outstanding in this tournament , the main highlights is the big failure of Bolt and Jamaica overall , Omar macleod just saved their ass with his gold in men's 100m hurdles , Russia is back on track hopefully cleaner this time , but i must admit that i lost hope that athletes can be 100 % clean in this sport so i just forgot about the doping issues and enjoy what these athletes can present
  7. I'm happy for Makwala , but i wonder , will this be the same decision if it was another athlete who's not famous
  8. Denmark vs Egypt result corrected At the end of the first half (26 minutes 59 seconds) of the 2017 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship Preliminary Group A match between Denmark and Egypt yesterday afternoon, a goal was wrongly attributed in the official match report to Denmark centre back Mikkel Beck at the same time Hazem Mamdouh scored a penalty shot for Egypt. This resulted in a half-time score of 16:12 to Denmark and a final score of 29:28 to Denmark. These results were incorrect based on the previously mentioned issue and the official match result should have been recorded as a draw, 28:28 (15:12). After an internal review, the IHF Competition Management in consultation and in agreement with both the Danish Handball Federation and Egyptian Handball Federation made the decision to correct the final score to 28:28. The Egyptian delegation had registered an appeal after the match, but it fell outside of the official protest time of two hours allowed upon completion of the match in question and therefore the Danish delegation were not informed. However, in the spirit of Fair Play and mutual respect between all nations within the handball family, IHF Competition Management approached the Danish delegation at Georgia 2017 to alert them of the issue and inform them of the two options available. These options were to adopt the official procedure involving the IHF Disciplinary Commission on site in Georgia with the possibility that the match in question be replayed, or, alternatively, to correct the result of the match under the spirit of Fair Play in accordance with the actual number of goals scored. Therefore, a meeting was held earlier today, Wednesday 9 August, at the team hotel with representatives of IHF Competition Management with the Chief of the Danish Delegation, Christian Pedersen and Denmark head coach Claus Hansen who agreed to the corrected score. “We will accept the 28:28 result due to fair play and sportsmanship and we believe that all other countries would have done the same,” said Hansen. “However, it is very important for us to underline that we haven’t made any mistakes in this matter.” “On behalf of the Egyptian Handball Federation I would like to thank the Danish Handball Federation for their commitment to Fair Play and their decision to accept the corrected score,” said Hisham Nasr, Chief of the Egyptian Delegation. “We would all like to wish Denmark good luck in the rest of the competition.” IHF Competition Management agreed that those match delegates involved in the incident will take no further part in the competition. The IHF greatly appreciates the extraordinary sportsmanship of the Danish Handball Federation in accepting the correction of the result in the spirit of exemplary Fair Play. All teams in the competition have been informed of the decision and the IHF would like to thank everyone involved for their co-operation. 9. also very sad for Makwala , he deserved at least the chance to compete today in men's 400m , i don't think his illness was that serious that can end his tournament in definitely his best season ever , Spotakova victory after 10 years and in 36th age, simply historic
  10. well , men's pole vault final was very interesting, bot not as dramatic as olympic final and that miraculous 6.03 for Braz which gave him gold
  11. btw Salwa Eid Nasser is the only Bahranian in team Bahrain , her father is from Bahrain and she was raised there since childhood ,
  12. any scores from today's weight categories ?
  13. 1st stage of GP started today in Moscow , but for sorry there's only live streaming for the semis and no scores provided
  14. Congrats to our local here Farida osman for her outstanding performance in women's 50m butterfly setting world's 8th fastest time ever and 5 new AF in this tournament , but she also could have done much better results especially in 100m butterfly , but anyway her bronze medal was just a dream that came true , for Egyptian swimming it's been a satisfied wch with 5 top10 finishes , but many question marks are on Ahmed Akram performance , all his junior fellows who he topped in YOG and 2015 wch where he finished 4th made such big results here winning silver in men's 800m and silver in men's 1500m , but his level is declining and that was pretty sure in Rio , anyway i'm not waiting for big results to come , as long as these swimmers are 100 % self made with assistant from their American universities , there's no aid from federation or government , no participations in WCs , swimmer like Ahmed Akram didn't take part in any tournament since march when he won bronze medal at 1650 yards in NCAA 2017 getting under American record set by Conor Jaeger
  15. Serbia is the dream team of water polo , they're not winning only but entertaining as well
  16. I don't know how come America finishes with a bronze only in American football , even if they send their secondary school team they'd have won easily
  17. i think 6th ranked team should officiallyqualify as long as they said 10 or 11 reams apart from India will qualify ?
  18. for Men's semi final 2 , will 6 teams qualify to WC or 5 only ?
  19. Roger is 1 set up and 3-0 in 2nd set , but cilic looks much injured now
  20. Congrats for Moguruza for winning wimbeldon , much deserved victory for her
  21. i'm sure it's gonna be a tough one for Federer against Cilic , despite not losing a single set till the final , but Federer is not on his best form which he started the season with winning a treble majors , Cilic is very dangerous on the service line and from base line so he has all chances to win wimbeldon today , Roger has to be in his best to defeat him , so i think it'll be 50-50 and i hope it's Roger's 8th title here
