  6. today's Garmisch downhill made some victims also in the Italian team... Federica Sosio suffered a composed double fracture of tibia and fibula in her left leg... meanwhile further exhamination cleared Federica Brignone to take part in next week's GS in Maribor, but earlier in the day she was feeling strong pain to her knees and she was taken to the hospital to have that deep exhamination...

  8. well, the girl is a really promising talent...she was Sub-21 World Champion last year (if I remember well what our commentator said...I'm too lazy to check it out right now)...
  9. because if France blow out their race there's a small chance more for Italy to make the podium (which is still a very, very remote chance...but you never know)... and don't forget the traditional rivalry between ITA and FRA...if I say that I hope FRA goes well, I could go to jail and be tortured... just joking, of course...
  10. not that I wouldn't like it, but I have to fix it...
  11. maybe... probably... sure... p.s. but this year I'm pretty happy with Doro and Lisa, in any case...
  12. no, no... the Dutch Flag is NOT blue, white and RED...

  18. the first one was clear... the second one...well, the hit was there, but the whole action was a bit confused and it could have been evaluated differently...giving the 2 points to the French girl was not a scandal, however... so far, I have to say the refereeing is pretty decent, compared to the standard of the past... right now, today I only strongly disagree with 2 matches...the bronze medal bout gifted to Coban in the women's 61kg and the gold medal bout between the Frenchman Dacosta and the Italian Maresca, who was robbed big time of a deserved gold medal... in all the other bouts I've watched I haven't seen any shameful and suspicious misdemeanor, just a few close calls that could easily have gone the other way round...but in those cases you can't call them scandals or robberies for sure...
  19. when you watch a bout like the men's -67kg final, the "karate = boxing" comparison is quite clear... and then some people are surprised when they're asked if do we really need another thing like this at the Olympic Games?
  20. this time is Loch's triumph (6th world title)... the funeral can start, now...
  21. I just can't belive that! Pavlichenko makes a capital mistake on the last curve and blows it away... is it gonna be Loch or is it gonna be another Austrian upset?
  22. OK, my day's over... as expected, K-Fisch waste the chance of his life... and Austria is on the podium in the men's single once again (and always with someone different from time to time)...
