  1. you know that all these stadiums have been built by the Chinese government in exchange for any sort of concession -political and economical, don't you?
  2. I'm old enough to remember the old days when the Raptors used to play there, I know it was built as a multi-purpose facility, but now it's been renewed and it's a true baseball field (actually, one of my favourite MLB stadiums -among the "modern" ones of course, Wrigley, Fenway and Chavez Ravine are still unmatched) in any case, the question was about the world cup venue and our troll was wrong from the beginning
  3. Toronto never hosted the Olympic Games, idiot!
  4. you're just a troll
  5. this the skydome, it's a baseball stadium and will not host games of the football world cup

  7. so, after Day #5, we already know 8 of the 16 teams that will take part into the knockout round: Ilves Tampere KalPa Kuopio Frölunda Gothemburg Sparta Prague SC Bern Lukko Rauma Brynäs IF ERC Ingolstadt meanwhile the Bolzano Foxes just made a typical Italian Hockey appearance, a pure waste of time (they're not yet mathematically eliminated, but only a really improbable combination of favourable results would keep them into the tournament after the last gameday of the RS)

  13. I was talking of design, it's obvious that technological innovations go ahead with time and nothing we use Today is the same of 10/15+ years ago
  14. basically it's the same idea/design of Brazil 2014, only the colours are different (of course) originality at its best 🥳
  15. team sports are different however, I'm not saying that's good, but tbh to me it's about giving sense to a sport being "global" (and being at the Olympics) or just being a one place affair and living by itself (like the American Football, for instance...there would be no reason to make it an Olympic sport...oh, well, they actually did it ) right now, table tennis, diving and weightlifting (at least among the women) have a problem of competitiveness and have to find a way to compensate that
  16. it's necessary because there are very few events and there's a high risk of having a one-Nation sport (it's the same in taekwondo, even if I think that now there's no chance to see a Korean-only medal table in such case) it should be applied also in table tennis and diving, given there's no competition for the Chinese athletes in swimming and athletics there are so many events that there's always place for many Countries to win (also) gold medals, so it's not necessary imho
  18. up CHL & NHL...Tonight I'm gonna get mad
  19. 'nnamo bene... https://www.oasport.it/2025/10/gli-usa-strappano-una-promessa-del-volley-allitalia-il-fratello-di-francesco-sani-non-sara-azzurro/ dopo la fuga dei cervelli, inizia anche la fuga dei muscoli
  20. 1-ok, but wait at lrast for the first hit to come (or the pitch count to go up towards the 90/100 pitches) 2-I agree, but being used to the Dodgers bullpen, I'm always for the starter to go as deep as possible 3-I hope there's no gm 5, but it's a good consideration now, back to KBO's wild card game 😁
  21. it was Dave Roberts-alike pitching management by Schneider...taking off the mound your starter while still throwing a no hitter 🥳😈🤦
  22. switching from to gave a boost to Kampman, who finally came off the shadow of Nolot and the rest of the French team and won her first world title first gold also for Pianosi, who finally could outsail the GOAT Maeder
  23. women Gold: Jessie Kampman Silver: Daniela Moroz Bronze: Lauriane Nolot men Gold: Riccardo Pianosi Silver: Max Maeder Bronze: Benoit Gomez Full Results https://www.kiteclasses.org/2025worlds
  24. and Benoit Gomez together with Tony Vodisek join Riccardo Pianosi and Max Maeder in the men's Final Pianosi, as the fleet race winner, only needs 1 win for gold, meanwhile the other guys need 2
  25. Daniela Moroz and Lily Young join Jessie Kampman and Lauriane Nolot in the Final Kampman will start the finals with 1 win and only needs another 1 to take the title, the other girls need 2 wins to bring gold home
