  6. Dobrodošli, prijatelji športa na posebni forumski strani, namenjeni tistim ljudem, ki jih zanimajo slovenske športne dogodivščine. ----------------- Greetings, dear friends of sports. This is a special forum site, dedicated to those people, interested in Slovenian sports adventures.
  7. I am still surprised Slovenia does not compete in this sport. First olympic medal took Rudolf Cvetko in 1912 (Fencing), I know you are familiar with our Swimming (Sara Isakovič) and Athletics (Primož Kozmus, Jolanda Čeplak, Brigita Bukovec,...) medals. Do not forget about our experiences in shooting (Rajmond Debevec), and we even have very good training facilities for Equestrian (Lipica, Celje,..). So, it is really strange not competing in this event. BTW, as many of you I am also extremely dissapointed on media production of this wonderful sport. As we would still be living way back in 20th Century.
  8. Great to have a Slovenian player in the end, Polona Hercog will compete in Rio.

  12. There were a few suggestions, especially among female singers, who convinced in 2014 or 2015 with their vocals. And here is my final choice for TISC 2016. Anja Kotar is only 18 year old singer from Ljubljana, studying in San Jose, California. She started singing at age of five and was also very good pianist, taking many prizes. When she was only 14, she competed at Slovenian X Factor, where she sung "You feel my love" from Adele, but did not make it to second round. After she moved with her family to USA in 2012, she was accepted to Valley Christian Conservatory, where her subject is piano. In February 2016, she came to Slovenia, where she competed in two festivals, firstly on newly formed "Pop Rock" with song, called "Čas je Zdaj" (Time is now). Her vocal presence was so convincing she deserved special award for young talented singer. Later on, she competed also on Ema 2016, Slovenian selection for Eurovision Song Contest. With her song "Too Cool" has not made it to superfinal. Starting this year, she published another interesting single, "Tightrope", with whom she will compete on our annual song contest. This is her first single from premiere album Nomad. On Youtube, she wrote what is meaning of this song. "I wrote the song over a year ago - the tightrope is an analogy for a relationship. Whether it be a lover or a friend, the song talks about those shaky relationships that are constantly on edge; one wrong move and your balance is thrown off. It's about always walking the line, leaving destruction behind, but still consciously pressing on. " Enjoy!
