  1. Cool, thanks, so without any more delays, here is: 21 - A4
  2. Can I try one, since I am already here?
  3. That is because I am logged in, it is all coming up together
  4. I am sending my votes in the very next moment, so your concerns for are over.
  5. Very sad news for Slovenian biathlon, basically we lost all chances to compete with our women's relay at the Olympics, and even mixed relay.
  6. I totally agree, women's ski jumping also needed time to evolve and now it is much more competitive like 10 years ago. So, I am cheering for Women's NC in 2026, maybe in 2022, if they will start with World cup at least next season.
  7. I think when (If) women's Nordic combined is accepted in Olympic family, other nations who have already developed women's ski jumping will compete more seriously, that includes our nation. I am cheering for that inclusion, this is one of the events women should compete in long time ago (not sure why there is still no World Cup)
  8. Telemark skiing is very popular in our country (also in other parts of Alps and Scandinavia). They have improved this sport much during the years. It used to be a "boring" giant slalom run with telemark step, now they have added 360° turn and a cross country sprint part and also, they compete in pairs (like elimination race). It is much more interesting now as it was 20 years ago, but still not so many countries compete. Usually there are around 50 men from 15 countries and only 15 women from 6, 7 countries in World cup races. This means it is still too early to add in Olympics programme, but maybe in the future, who knows.
  9. SLOVENIA I believe this is first time in history of TISC contest, you can vote among musician for an athlete, and not some kind of athlete, but an Olympic Champion. Firstly, Tina Maze is known as best sportswoman of all time in our country. Former alpine skier took two Olympic gold medals in Sochi 2014, two Olympic silver in Vancouver 2010, become 4 times World champion and won World cup Overall title in 2013 with a record breaking 2414 points. There were hard times for Tina, before she became worldwide known. She was injured a lot, her confidence was at bottom, before she met Andrea Massi. You know the rest. This song is her only single, and it was released a day before her first race of, what was later discovered, her record season. It got very mixed reception, mostly due to her poor results in the past. People thought, she is mocking of her career and she will never be able to win again (well, guess again :P). Song title says everything - "My Way is My Decision". It is a song about Tina's courage to step forward, and doing what she does best in her own way, something not quite usual for average Slovenian. Authors are Raay (part of Eurovision duo Maraaya), Matjaž Jelen (lead singer of established Slovenian band Šank Rock) and Charlie Mason (co-writer of winning Eurovision song "Rise Like a Phoenix"). Tina Maze - My Way is My Decision
  10. I will be posting my song in a moment. It is a song I had in mind years ago for our annual competition, but forgot about it, so years gone by and finally I can post it in our Open contest. Hope you will like it, the artist is very known to every sports fan on our forum and worldwide, so, get ready for something different from .
  11. Ha ha, nice ! What a week for our sports, and still road race ahead of us on Sunday. And what a Grand finale, times only on climb: 1. Roglič 10:06 2. Dumoulin +0:05 3. Dennis +0:16 4. Tratnik +0:29 (great job also from him, finishing 10th) 9. Froome +0:35 This is first ever Slovenian medal in ITT at WCH and second ever in Elite competition (first one was bronze in 2001 Road Race - Andrej Hauptman, our head coach here).
  12. Thank you guys for all support. I still can't believe what happened in Turkey. I was in Ljubljana yesterday for reception of our Golden boys, so sad not being quite good one, but nevertheless excitement was still there, with 20.000 people gathered in our capital city. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE ARE THE BEST, ONLY SKY IS THE LIMIT !!!
  13. is back again, I already have song ready for you, hope @mihamiha won't mind.

  15. Unofficial Standings (Eurovision manner; 12-10-8-...-1) ORDER NATION POINTS 1(-) Great Britain 149 2(-) Brazil 120 3(-) Serbia 106 4(-) Iran 105 5(+1) New Zealand 92 6(-1) Malta 92 7(-) Lithuania 89 8(-) Portugal 85 9(+2) Netherlands 81 10(-1) Italy 75 11(-1) Morocco 70 12(-) Algeria 68 13(-) Tunisia 66 14(-) Indonesia 65 15(+2) Argentina 58 16(-1) Mexico 56 17(+1) Moldova 54 18(-2) Slovenia 53 19(+2) Bulgaria 53 20(-) Croatia 51 21(-2) France 50 22(+3) India 46 23(-1) Romania 42 24(-1) United States 42 25(-1) Ireland 41 26(-) Slovakia 36 27(+1) Poland 35 28(-1) Denmark 32 29(-) Germany 29 30(-) Greece 23 31(-) Canada 20 32(-) Russia 18 33(-) Kazakhstan 17 34(-) Finland 7 35(-) Azerbaijan 4 As you can see, there was suprisingly little movement among positions, 21 countries stayed on same spot, which has never happened in TISC history. Biggest improver is India, jumping for three places from 25th to 22nd. Meanwhile, Slovenia and France are the only one losing two places.
  16. After three hours of reading and cheering I finally got through this another successful edition of TISC. First of all, congratulations to GB for another win, I was the first (and for quite a long time only one) to give them 12 points. Next, thank you to all, who gave points to our song, especially to , giving us maximum possible. I was quite surprised, knowing Slovenian language is quite complexed for most of you, but this is one more proof music is still no.1 in your hearts, as well as in mine. @mihamiha, thank you for choosing Nina Pušlar, she is one of my favourite singers, so it was not hard to go with your choice. I am not so often on this site, but some things never changed. Soon you will see a table with results put in official Eurovision style, so without 11 and 9 points. I can't wait for next contest, I believe I already have a song chosen, will just have to beat my fellow member from Slovenia. Till next time wishing you a lot of musical enjoyment!
  17. It's OK, I am very busy lately, so I checked the schedule a couple of days ago, when I knew it would be my turn at 12.15. No worries, I am already used to it.
