However, another massive vote of 11 points for the Italy, following up a trio of maximum 12 points has them sitting pretty at the head of the scoreboard. An astonishing run of results, picking up 47 of 48 available points in the last 4 rounds of voting. Italy end the first voting session with a healthy 16 point advantage over 2nd place Sweden, and Canada 1 point further back in 3rd. 4 nations are still looking to break their duck after the first session of voting - Argentina, Bulgaria, Romania and Slovakia all remain scoreless - but there's plenty of juries left to vote in the coming sessions. Fingers crossed for all 4 of those nations and hopefully it won't be too long before they have their first points of the contest.
