It would be fun to try and guess the identity of the member who entered each song. I guess we could do that as nations are eliminated? Thanks for the feedback Ok then maybe I will just try it with the format I posted with a single post. It seems like a good compromise between what some want (not too much scrolling and the option to just see the result) and for those who want to see the match progression and have a kind of reveal. So they can reveal one by one themselves using the spoiler function and go as slow or fast as they wish. Right, time to get some templates created

I’m still open to suggestions about how you want the results revealed. If I reveal them one at a time then there’s no point with the spoilers but if we are all happy to go ahead with the format above then I can go ahead with that.

Well the idea of having the spoilers is to prevent the need for cluttering the thread with too many posts so probably better to post it at once. And I guess users can still see the order the votes unfolded and deliver whatever amount of suspense they want by going as slow or as quickly as they wish. But for the final group matches I will post them one at a time.

I am still not sure about what format to use for revealing the results. I will post an example here on thread using what was suggested today. Let me know what you think? By the way, I would appreciate if everyone could have a think about anything they wish to share for Japan Day. There will be no Opening Ceremony as is usually the case with other contests. This is just a sort of Japanese appreciation day for us to mark what would have been the day of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics had they gone ahead. I don't have anything prepared for that so it really is a community based day for anyone to post anything they like, find cool, find interesting about Japan, Japanese people, culture, sport, music, whatever. For me it will be a day where I can try to catch up on some organisation of the contest so definitely would love if you all get involved in contributing to the tribute

I guess a diagram like that can be posted at the start of the template to show the vantage points for each judge, as if the artists are being viewed in an enclosed arena and scored on their performances And then continuing with the scorecard format.

I like that idea a lot, we can incorporate that into the current template.... so for example, I changed the Judge names below to reflect the letters in the dressage format. I know it doesn't have the same rectangle format as in the other design but a scorecard like the one below would be easier for me to modify as needed throughout the compeition. What you think? I would dearly love to know what happened to the 8th judge in that match also. Maybe he never made it to the voting booth
