    Already a big bummer for the Land of Hope & Glory today with the news about Amber Hill. Only tiny consolation is that shooters can have longer careers than other Olympic athletes, so she will have other chances.     I doubt they’ll be uploading much more than a daily highlights package or maybe backstage features, interviews with medal winners & other secondary material. Not any real coverage. They’ve sold the rights, exclusive till year end.

    The thing about baseball & softball is that it’s very hard to predict what happens when the pitchers change, so there is always that chance. That said, if the USA stick with those two it’s hard to see many runs being scored against them.

    Exactly. A few years back they said they would not look at bids from second-string cities, they only wanted big global mega cities. Well, how's that working out?

    Yeah, was just an early glitch. First 20 mins had no comms & I was stressing! But checking some of the other tracks, not all are working.

    Was thinking that. 4 teams out of six will play for a medal, ITA definitely look better than AUS.

    They were playing “Sugar Baby Love” by the Rubettes, couldn’t believe it! USA had to work, but manufactured the run.

    Well, like I said, there’s a usually lot more going on in softball than in baseball & a lot less staring into space.

    Softball is different in that the players traditionally create a lot of atmosphere, so that is maybe why.
