  1. After 4th race. I dare to say 90% sure that the quota will go to
  2. Agreed. But you can see how fear is playing with people's opinions...
  3. Interesting theory. As I said above, China take prepare for such event in a very short time. Just Chinese government would most likely be against opening borders. They would probably allow only those with biological passport which is still in process of making...
  4. Agreed on this. Was thinking of London, too. But logistically impossible. We got around 70 days to go..... As for China. They would definitely love to accept as I know them. They are able to prepare such event in a very short time. Big problem is the covid situation and government would most likely not open the borders....
  5. Well, I just wanted to bring a bit funny topic instead of sharing how much are Japanese against the Games...... ???
  6. Let's start a bit crazier discussion ??. What would you guys say about venue change for the 2021 Summer Olympics. If so, where it may happen? ??.
  7. Nádhera!! Obrovská gratulace!!! Nakonec budete ve všech kategoriích. Vždy je nesmírně náročné bojovat jen o 1 místenku. Velká gratulace!!
  8. Konečně mu to vyšlo!!!!! Český zápasník Artur Omarov se kvalifikoval do Tokya!!!! Obrovská gratulace!!!!
  9. Omarov finally made!!!! After missing out on London 2012 and Rio 2016 by only one match in both previous Olympic qualifications, he finally made. He deserves it a lot! Big congrats!!!
  10. Sorry, forgot to write this discipline. Yes, Javelin.
  11. European Throwing Cup 2021 Andrian Mardare - Javelin Throw - 86,66 m - NR
  12. Gratulace! Teď ještě, aby někdo z holek vyjel místenku v C1 :-)
  13. Ondřej Teplý - nice first race. Close to the top. But the and fellas will be tough. Hope dies last..... Com'on !!!!
  14. Well, she has been through a lot in her career. For me, I don't know whether to believe in her doping or not. But in my opinion, I think if she took something, unwillingly..... I think she will reach the standard.
  15. I can't believe what happened to Adéla Three posibilities to qualify for the Olympics and at every single each of them she needed one match to qualify for Tokyo. And at every single each of them she lost the most important match........ Hell of a bad luck ......
  16. Don't forget, some gymnasts are considered too old at the age of 20 ..... Apart from Chusovitina. She will never be too old
  17. ????? has all 12 boats in the semifinals ???????
  18. Tak buď Tajmuraz musí doufat v re-allocation and nebo se připravit na Paříž :-) ....... Btw, koukal jsem na jeho zápas. Jestli jsi to viděl, neměl ten 4 bodový chvat být náhodou pro něj?
  19. Are you sure about this? I remember this rule was during Rio 2016 or at least a bit similar. But I also read somewhere, can remember where it was that this rule is no longer valid .....
  20. I am sure she has to earn a ticket for K1 event. Couple Olympics back, for example if there was K2 qualified but no K1, the country (competitor) could have decided whether it's worth to compete in K1, too. For now, you have to earn a ticket as far as I know. Just imagine that you have qualified for K4 but not for K2. So you would be able to build 2 boats for K2? I don't think so ...... In the past, maybe...... Now, not. It is same in athletics. Just imagine that you qualify full relay but nobody for the individual event. So logically thinking, you may send all 4 competitors also for the individual competition. But qualification system says 'NO'.
  21. According to the manager of Therese Johaug, she will participate in a meeting in Oslo this weekend in order to try to accomplish A Standart for Tokyo 2020 in the 10.000 m run ... Would be nice having multiple Olympic and world champion in cross country skiing in the athletics competition in Tokyo. She also said if she reaches the standard she would have to decide whether participate or not as she has also been preparing for the Olympic Games in Beijing.
  22. Guys, I think the topic of competing for another nation has already been here several times so I guess it is pointless to talk about and just learn to accept it. There can be multiple reasons why somebody changes a nationality. But if you look at Russians or people from Asian Russian speaking countries like , etc, there surely change the nationality cause there is way higher competition nationwide or they are looking for better conditions as we all know what conditions they are offered in those countries. I was also sad when freestyle skier Matěj Švancer swicthed his nationality to and probably going to Beijing 2022 and he is promissing to get one of the medals. But that is something we have to accept. If the "strong" Russian joins your country, you are surely happy that the person gets to compete under your flag and may get successful under your flag. Even though he/she is not originally your country born. These people also usually get some connections in your country - later they probably work there, they may find a life partner there, learn the language and accept the country as a new home. I think all these things are connected with this. And I fully respect that. does not have any naturalized wrestlers, I know only about 1 figure skater by now who qualified in Pairs competition for Beijing 2022 alongside her Czech partner. But I respect that. Such as I respect that our athletes who have to fight the fact of some athletes being naturalized by other countries when they have to defeat them in the competition ......
