Stefan Ritter (only 21) has retired. He is a former world junior champion, but suffered a huge accident last year (brain injury) and decided to end his career in the interest of his long term health.

if you check the results in poomsae World Champs. they have it for different age categories. technically there is no open age event ! even at the Asian Games it was open to athletes from 18 to 30 ! this is how they created Poomsae in first place.

The first edition of the Central American and Caribbean Beach Games is going to be held in 2021, with Santa Marta  being the only bidder so far. The "Centennial" edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2026 is likely to be awarded to León ; they probably will use the velodrome in Aguascalientes for track cycling and held other distribute other disciplines in other cities, all located 2 hours or less from the main host; beach events are likely to be held in Puerto Vallarta or Manzanillo, which are the closest sites. Three more sports were added to the 2022 sports program of the Games: Bodybuilding , Surfing and Netball, which was likely the input of the English Caribbean countries.

Mexico has qualified for the 2020 World Qualification Event in both genders 
 
Good result, considering it's the America's Challenge is the first tournament for both teams, even if they only had to beat one team to achieve qualification.
 

I'm really surprised at the double standards here. People go crazy when a new cheater is banned, but when a nation creates a state-driven doping program, most people are okay to simply turn a blind eye on the whole situation. Clean individuals can always try to compete as independent athletes. Of course players in team sports would suffer, but that's the price you pay for representing a nation which has been proven again and again not to play by the rules. At this point another slap on the wrist is not going to make any difference. The IOC needs to ban Russia with no possibility of amendments to their decision.

And, really, how come some people still believe this is not about politics? What world do some of you guys live in? We have athletes representing nations competing against one another, and a huge doping scandal led by a nation, and some people still believe this is only about the individual performances of the athletes? Seriously? Wake up, Sleeping Beauty.

2015 Pan American Games Champ, former World silver medalist  Tory Nyhaug has retired due to health reasons. He just recovered from a concussion sustained over 18 months ago.He has decided the risk of another concussion is just not worth continuing. All the best in retirement!

While the Europeans are on, in Poland my team made a great debut in the Polish Curling League (third level), winning both games this weekend. We played for the first time in this roster. However, next leg (21-22 December) will be quite interesting, as we play against the other two teams, who have also won their both games so far.

If were to qualify, one of or would miss out guaranteed, then we have Pan Am Champs as well. I wish 8 spots were available here oh well.
