  1. Narcisstic billionaires like Trump usually don't care about such irrelevant things like geography
  2. I wouldn't be surprised if 80% of Americans believe Kansas City is actually located in Kansas (which of course it is not).
  3. Kyle Shanahan has completely blown the playcalling with a multi-score lead in the SB again...
  4. I absolutely fricking hate commercials myself. Put this shit on mute at the very least. One would think the whole game is just a distraction for the halftime show and the damn adverts.
  5. It wouldn't surprise me if Americans think Europeans don't have a clue about NFL
  6. Are you one of those folks who watches one NFL game per year?
  7. Super Bowl LIV will start in ca. 5 mins...
  8. Actually our most talented jumper Kamila Karpiel is injured and doesn't compete this season. Poland has decided to put serious notice into the women's jumping last year, we're way behind the eight ball but 6th place in the mixed team event in Seefeld WC proved we could make a run here if only the girls have a real coach and support from our federation. It has finally happened before this season.
  9. Kinga Rajda (128,0 / 127,0) finished 6th in the second Oberstdorf event This is her PB and overall best World Cup performance from a female jumper (previous best was Rajda's 21st earlier this season in Sapporo). 128,0 meters in the first round is the longest official jump by a Polish woman ever!
  10. I'd never guess that's a Dutch name, even from Surinam or something like that But that's a very good name if you want to be a global star in sports Not to mention cyclo-cross will never be a global sport... Btw, I somehow stumbled upon this race on ES and Polish commentators never noticed Brand had a saddle failure, moreover they said Alvarado has lost all the sprints to Worst in World Cup before and here she somehow won this to take gold?
  11. 1st run in Ga-Pa GS and Top 5 currently separated by 0,22. Kranjec with one big error which cost him the lead.
  12. JImenez Kasintseva was the youngest player in the draw. She will turn 15yo in August though she is older than Cori Gauff when the American won the French Open juniors in 2018. Still it's basically two years older than Martina Hingis who won 1993 French Open aged 12 and 8 months
  13. Brignone easily faster than Suter who had a horrible final section.
  14. Siebenhofer looks to have picked up some stomach muscle injury during her run.
  15. Sharapova was always accused of not being a real Russian and basically an American. Anastasia Myskina and Elena Dementieva were in particular against her and Myskina flat out refused to play in the Russian Fed Cup team if Sharapova was selected as well. As it turned out Sharapova didn't make her Russian Fed Cup debut until 2008, basically the year after Myskina was forced to retire due to a persistent ankle injury. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tennis/4040243.stm https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2005/oct/06/tennis.sport21 Evgeniy Kafelnikov also went on a Sharapova rampage but he blasted everyone. https://www.tennis365.com/tennis-news/kafelnikov-blasts-federer-nadal-djokovic-sharapova/
  16. All Grand Slam events are organized by ITF - not by ATP or WTA Same goes for Davis Cup & Fed Cup.
  17. Kenin and Anisimova are what Sharapova was always accused of Not to mention she speaks Russian to her father-coach during WTA events (on-court coaching is banned by ITF) And well, 15 years ago she was still Sonya Kenin
  18. People losing time like crazy over the last 15 seconds...
  19. Mother Russia will be proud! Sofia Kenin is a Grand Slam champion! Worst PR nightmare for US marketing though
  20. There's no chance any man beats the women's record due to the expanded club level competition and senior women team being involved in the Olympic tree. Most top men stars would simply sit out a meaningless game that ends 11-0 anyway
  21. Well, I've had my run-ins with this guy before so I'm well aware he knows very little about our country (like Poland being a part of Kingdom(!) of Lithuania) despite pretending otherwise so I gave him a fair 0
  22. Ross Perrot was a billionaire who was no different than Donald Trump other than running as independent. @Olympian1010 wants to restrict money involved in politics, how is that even possible when billionaires like Perrot or Blomberg are the third option? Power always means money, always! Even if a country is downright poor, people who are in charge always have enough wealth to enjoy. It happened in the communist regimes as well. The otherwise most modest man in power in global history was probably Stalin but hell, he's the worst example of a world leader you will ever find.
  23. Double-headed Eagle is a tradition to Orthodox countries and the former Holy Roman Empire (aka the First Reich). Austria retained it after the HRE folded amid the Napoleonic wars. Obviously Poland never adopted the Double-headed Eagle as its coat of arms so you are totally wrong here (not for the first time when it comes to Polish history). On the scale 0 to 100 I give you 0 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Poland
