I am not sure... These probably aren't final (NED will likely decline), but I still wouldn't know if the ISSF would allow nations to choose their reallocation.

Our Male Trap Shooter is 52 and has competed at 4 previous Olympiad. Our Female Trap shooter is ranked in Top 20 and was 7th at Recent European Championship. Would be very silly for us to accept this.

Unless it's the only spot we could get. Shooting has some very, very weird reallocations...

Yeah. Very tough luck though for Aoife Gormally if that's the case.

@dcroAny idea who is in line for reallocation for women's trap?

No idea. There are no more eligible athletes in women's trap (between unqualified nations), so we are in a scenario which was not foreseen in the qualification system (lol).

If they reallocate it to the next two highest ranked athletes (from any nation) - :FIN:TUR

If they reallocate it to the next two highest ranked athletes (not already qualified in W trap specifically) - :TUR:CYP

If they reallocate it to the next two highest MQS athletes (from any nation) - :GER:GER

If they reallocate it to the next two highest MQS athletes (not already qualified in W trap specifically) - :GER:KUW

By the way, there should be further reallocations, once China / Russia decline female quotas.

Unless they plan to send mixed team-only athletes, which is highly improbable.

Why China would decline females quota?

China finished trials and announced current version list with 24 people. But we have 25 quotas. So China plans to return (not decline) one unused men's 10m air rifle quota to exchange one men's trap or men's skeet quota. It's permitted by the rule but China didn't find a NOC available to exchange quota yet. We are asking help for ISSF and waiting for confirmation.

Wait, China is really sending 14 (!) women, with zero double starters (individually), and two athletes entered only for the mixed team events? :yikes:

Yes. We have 14 women, but with double starters. For both rifle and pistol, one individual event only, one attending individual and mixed, one mixed only.

It’s also a national quota, not an individual one so Ireland may send former world junior champion Ian O’Sullivan instead
