Not sure, usually they are one of the earliest to reveal, but since you asked, the quotas were awarded to

:BUR Sawadogo Passamwindin Faysal (M -80kg)

:AFG Farzad Mansouri (M +80kg)

That's interesting, Mansouri participated at 74kg a week ago in Asian Championships. and lost a very close match to our guy.

he was very good but still probably very undersized for that weight. I assume Burkina Faso already had that 80kg wild card, they had to send this guy to the next available weight

Afghanistan won a gold medal (their first ever) by another athlete Mohsen Rezaee at the Asian Championships but unfortunately for him that was 58kg and the quota place was already filled by the host athlete.

btw at least for Afghanistan this is official. their NOC confirmed the news.

So :AND didn't received any invitation, not even in swimming, Apparently, would compite only with two athletes, one qualified and a wildcard in Athletics.

Well, apparently the Andorran Comitee decided NOT to accept the quotas on swimming. The andorran swimming federation is triyng to fight against that decition, but the Comittee doesn't want to send them......

So sad for the athletes that didn't know they weren't going to be selected that were training until the oficial team was announced. They must be heartbroken....

    • this is not funny at all, pal
    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
