UCI has proposed to the IOC to stop the qualification in Mountain Bike, BMX (racing and freestyle) and para-cycling as of march 3rd.

Apparently only two more WCs will be added for the rankings, while all those farming events originally scheduled will not be included. Good.

 

If there is one thing worse than having points-farming events, then that would be having farming events during a pandemic.

so if I understand correctly our rider will have to beat & and try to not lose much to in Nove Město to qualify this single "Sagan" quota for our NOC ?

It will be tight between and . ISR/AUS are out.

Romania 2398 (+70)

 

If the same happens in Nove Mesto, Romania would take over that last spot. Slovakia is probably destined to add the minimum 6 (or 9) points, in which case Romania (Dascalu) has to finish 22nd (or 21st) to go ahead.
