Sensational silver for Italy  Beating Australia is huge. Russia's training has gone very wrong, their form was not worthy after all the hype..

Australia was expected to get Bronze at best. We were fortunate that the Brits failed to qualify for the final because of stupid coaching decisions and Russia was off.

Australia is always a favourite in a free relay. And you lost the silver with just a fraction, even with a questionable form of some swimmers. For me, any European nations that beats them in a free relay should consider it a huge success.

We won a lot of medals at the last Euros, so it depends how those times match up with the Aussies, Chinese, Yanks etc.
