if France and England win, what happens for the last Olympic ticket? Portugal has chances. ?

no, if :FRA and :ENG both win today, the playoff match is :GEO vs :UKR

if only one of them win, there won't be any playoff match (the 3 eligible semifinalists qualify)

if both are eliminated, there will be a 3rd place match between the 2 semifinals losers to determine the last team qualified to the Games

the only chance for Portugal to keep their chances alive is winning Today's match

Also, Spain and Israel will be qualified once Portugal loses. They are still 1-0 down at the start of extra time.

If that holds up, final quotum will go to Ukraine if they win either against France or Georgia. Otherwise it will go to Georgia.

A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y STUNNING AND GAGGING FROM OUR FOOTBALL TEAM. :hyper:

Ukraine moving up to 27 athletes, which is quite shocking because of our football boys, who revenged for our women's basketball team, who failed to qualify by receiving some bullshit scores from our friends from Lietuva and France.

Anyway, it's a first our appearance on OG in football, so Ukraine fully deserved this historical moment. Feeling bad for Georgia, but it's a sport(

What an amazing summer for the Israeli soccer teams.   3rd place in u20.  Semis In u23 and now ticket to the Olympics.    The sad thing is that it will never translate to the adult teams and we will keep missing the euros and the world cup

    • no idea. I just repeated what I read  but I won't be surprised if they make a mistake like this. the officials here are usually terrible in reading the rules. if I remember correctly they sent an Ice hockey team to the Games back in 2017 but most of the players were ineligible to play per IIHF rules and they played some friendlies instead    btw there is a federation, but not an ISU member. Ice Skating (which has a very very limited activity here) was a part of Skating (roller sports) federation but now moved to Skiing federation which officially changed its name to Skiing and Winter Sports Federation.
