good question...

since it's possible for an athlete to earn a mixed team quota place and then also an individual one, I interpretate this as a big "yes"...SVK should have 2 men and 2 women qualified after today's event...

but I'd wait for confirmation, since this qualification procedure looks like a mess (just as usual)...

by the way, Italy have 2 teams in the final and don't get even a medal (not talking of quota places, which were out of any chance already after a few targets)...:wall:

these championships are a real disaster for us...:redcard::sick::zip:

I think that we decided to focus to the European Championship... Btw, I'm not worry about this ;)

What happens if Slovakia qualifies a mixed pair? They get to enter additional two athlete in trap as well?

I think yes, Slovakia can enter shooters X and Y in mixed pair and shooters A and B in individual events. All 4 can take part in both individual events as well as team event.

while we got nothing in senior level and in term of Olympic quotas. at least Iran won two silver medals in junior level :d first ever world championship medal for Iranian male shooters.

and another 4th place for Sadeghian. she missed the medal in Jakarta in the same way. :(

What a disappointment, it's already certain that Italy won't have full quota in shotgun.

Hahaha nice joke

frankly, there's nothing certain...there are still so many events where to earn quota places from (world cups, world champs -in shotgun there are worlds every year- and the last europeans before the Olympics)...

OK, we had an awful world champs campaign here, but those are only the first spots awarded...there's still so much time (and chances) that I'm not worried about getting the full sqaud in Tokyo...but I'm a lot more worried about the chances of winning Gold medals in 2 years time (because I always expect nothing less than a full sweep at the Games)...

    • Unfortunate, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forward to Thursday evening, when the team captain's meeting is over and we have our very first World Cup start list of the season. Always a cool moment to see who's there and everything
    • Today I unpacked some of the boxes in which we have put my way too many books to move to our house, and I came across these beauty's I hadn't seen for a while     Absolutely recommended, tough to get for a decent price, but they are such an interesting read with lots of very interesting little stories! Still looking for at least 1900, 1904 and 1906, but not really in the right moment to spend money on that now, so the wait goes on
    • Which I guess is part of why unfortunately 'our' first wild card attempt of the season was rejected last week
