Actually, I would much rather see men & women’s softball than softball & baseball.  The virtue of softball is that the game is short & can be played in almost any outdoor sports stadium.

Agreed. It also solves the pretty glaring gender equality issue of the current setup. Olympic baseball is whack too since it isn't best on best.

Depending on how the IOC handles the extra quotas I imagine will see it in 2028. 2032 might have a chance with Australia unless they want to go with cricket (or netball, but there's no men's equivalent).

 pitching wasn’t a strong as it had been for the rest of tournament. I actually thought our offense was better, but  just played a great game.
