It was more a base running error than a strategic one IMO. She potentially would have forced an interference call if she didn’t try running around the catcher.

A - I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying watching softball 

 

B - disappointing result for Canada but it was still fairly entertaining

 

C - I guess I’m cheering for Mexico to beat Japan to make this interesting
