Fajdek was of course unhappy about his result, nothing new  But I'm surprised to see that Meronk made top10, instead for example Zdziebło who did win medal in every event at which she competed and yet she finished in last place

Do you mean speedway racer Zmarzlik, right? He is always too high in this plebiscite just because he has huge fanbase and speedway generally is overhyped sport here, besides us and Scandinavian countries nobody care about this sport.

Lewandowski also finished too high, Semeniuk for example should be on podium instead as he achieved much more than Lewandowski in 2022.

Fajdek is an arrogant buffoon and people simply don't like him. Hell, even my mother dislikes him

Like that story from Beijing World Champs when he got drunk and left the gold medal in a taxi cab. I know it was supposed to be funny but he also came around like a complete idiot.

Speedway is obviously overhyped, it seems like everyone who follows the sport votes for him regardless of club alliance.

Yeah,it's the first time i have heard of speedway as a sport, and yeah i suppose him having a huge following would lead him to finishing way higher than i would expect.

And  i guess football is a huge thing in Poland too. I don't know how much interest in Lithuania we have left for our own team ,we have nothing to show for the support[well not mine i hate football] but decades of thrash.

Also we have our sport award ceremonies where the best athlete male and female best team, best coach and all that are revealed,no rankings here.

Duplantis ranked recently 2nd best male athlete all categories in the world but no awards in the swedish sports gala, good level this year:d
