Im in love with the British public and their reception of Trump

Such a proud day to be British! I was one of those marching through London with 250’000 others! I hope Trump got the message that he and his policies are not welcome in the UK.

Well for a president that’s only divided his country, caged children, increased racial violence, and been endorsed by the American far-right (KKK); I think it’s perfectly fine. The elections this year are going to be messy, and probably leave us more divided.

Still, a country that would actually refuse him into their country would be just as bad as he is. Refusing him is just doing what he does, it's no different than his words like "we need to arm people to defend against gun violence."

That was or our original strategy to combat him and what he stands for, but it hasn’t worked, the same appeasement didn’t work with Hitler. I’m telling you that the far-right has activated a motivated left, which these elections will be brutal. I do agree though, that the best way to fight Trump is with facts, science, compassion, but also strong demonstrations against his “ideals”.

But not with stuff like "you're not welcome here" and "not our president!1!1". Because yes, he is the president of every American citizen.

I’m sorry, but I disagree with you. We elected Clinton by a 3 million vote majority. Trump won because of an antiquated system that favors the right. Trump certainly doesn’t represent my interests. His America, is not my America. He’s made it clear that refugees are not welcome in America, so we refuse to welcome in my state.

That whole system is strange, but it's been in place well before these elections. It's not like the rules changed suddenly. Trump won these elections, and is the president of each and every American citizen, regardless whether or not any one random citizen is happy with that or not. Fight him with facts? That is a fact.

Do you prefer Clinton or Obama like President?

    • I`m a traditionalist and I like alpine skiing competitions in the morning hours, illuminated by the sun In ski jumping this is practically non-existentthis in contrast the early 21st century (It's nice that at least there's Planica at the end of every season). There are also traditional competitions under artificial lights, like in Schladming or Madonna di Campiglio. There's no need to do the same thing everywhere as in ski jumping. Alpine skiing finals are rarely super exciting, because usually everything is clear and the skiers are tired from the long season. Finals were often canceled, so this year it was okay for me. If someone wanted a spectacle, that's what the Olympics Games or the World Cup in Kitzbuchel.

    • Baffling scheduling again. It's like FIS want to drive people away.    It's the Finals, on paper your big conclusion to the season, yet it feels like "let's get this over with". Just compare how the ATP treat their finals with this.   Ok, you want to have the GS & SL on Tuesday/Wednesday. That's fine, i've been advocating for more mid-week starts to begin with. But why, oh why do you have them in the middle of the day, on a work week.  Why aren't you having them in the evening, in prime time, when people are off work. Make it a big special event, which people want to visit and not during the day in front of a 100 fans. It's not that hard to choose a place with some floodlights.     And even this week we don't have Champion League football, so the night is free from big competition. Perfect opportunity to have alpine skiing on TV right now, but noooo.
