I couldn't be happier :p Whatever you vote for, it is still a beautiful gesture of democracy, which cannot be taken for granted in our world! Although I fear a new government full of Sinterklaas...

Sinterklaas is one of the most divisive things we have, the fact that elections are coming up has kept that mostly quiet so far this year luckily

Latest polls are showing 4 parties being very close together btw, with potentially a 5th one, that would be incredibly tight. More and more likely that we will have the 'smallest' winner ever, which is going to make a formation, again, massively difficult.

It's possible he won't live to the end of his term – it lasts up to 7 years. It's also possible that his political circle, not he, makes key decisions.

In Europe the longest rules it`s Lukashenko (Belarus)– since 1994, followed by Putin since 2000 and Erdogan since 2002.

:BRU Hassanal Bolkiah laughs at those rookies. When Lukashenko rose to power, he was already head of state for a good 27 years and he still is :d

No, it isn't.

As Italian, you would know better.

But obviosly majority of voters dont agree with you.

As long as left is losing anywhere in the world, I am fine with that.

As I've said before, I was living in Brunei when his father abdicated & he took over.  As mad tyrants go, he is just about the mildest.  The national obsession with wushu is hardly in the class of :TKM or any of the Kims.

Happy 107th Anniversary Czechoslovakia :cheer:

While in czechia people celebrate this historic day, in Slovakia our mentals rulling the governement passed a law prohibiting walking faster than 6 km/h :dunno:

a member of the ruling coalition in Slovakia proposed a law that would set a speed limit of 6 km/h for walking, with the aim of improving safety for pedestrians and preventing accidents with electric scooters.

Still 2 years to the next elections... dear lord and people use to say time flies fast... when this nightmare will finally end

The majority of Italians agree with me. The opposition won 57% of the vote in the elections, but decided to commit suicide by splitting up.
