got a team deduction of -0.3 because one of the gymnasts attempted 3 vaults on warm-up having only 1 vault in competition. Never seen something like this before.

The reigning Olympic beam champion is 10th overall, 7th when we count 2 per country. After the  performs in their rotation, she will already be out. Anyway, it's impossible to make the final by the end of the day.

Why have the front loaded the gymnastics with the three big teams going in the first three sessions leading to the last two rotations feeling less dramatic.

This was immediately after she realized she wouldn't qualify for any final. Poor girl.
