In a nation of amazing fencers, especially in men's sabre, Szilágyi might be the greatest we have ever had. The Olympics is what truly counts in fencing, and somehow he's just unstoppable here.

Maybe this is how they want to avoid having multiple athletes from the same nation in the Top4. :d

 

Except they didn't do a good enough job on that front because the Koreans have avoided each other.

:GER Hartung must find this amusing, his road to the SF is through 3 Hungarians, he may have to beat the entire Hungarian sabre team to reach the Top4.

Same for Chinese women's epee, all in a quarter. It seems solely decided by ranking so I am not sure if there any conspiracy behind.:d

it might be the best way for us to send an athlete in the semifinals (I mean, if you can can't win against people like Teodosiu, Ferjani, Apithy you just can't be a true medal candidate)...

 

I wouldn't say this is a completely bad draw for us in the men's sabre...

 

on the other hand, the women's epee could have been a bit more favourable...

 

however, I don't trust our girl in the individual events anymore in any case...if something good will come, it will be a nice surprise to me...

Rahman :SGP was off to surprisingly good start against Lin Y.H.C :HKG only for everyone to realize a technical glitch was giving the Lin’s points to the Singaporean :facepalm:

      Yeah, Today was added the 34th Quota for Team Slovakia.    5th Sport, 7th Female athlete of the team, Return to the Olympic Short Track Speed Skating for Slovakia after 12 years     One of the two young girls Tamara Tokárová or Lea Popovičová will represent the country in Milano 2026 in Short Track Speed Skating.       Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
