Track Cycling at the Summer Olympic Games 2020

Recommended Posts

Looking from a career perspective, Wild badly, badly deserved an Olympic medal, to be fair. This move was a bit shady though, even though all she really did was following the moves in front of her. Good thing Kajihara stayed on silver, a medal was slightly expected here but the pressure at home must have been big :d

Wild celebrating her DSQ ? Dutch are kinda odd sometime :d

DSQ would be controversial given that GBR did the same in Madison and got away with a yellow card...

It's nice that :JPN got their medal in cycling but this was kinda boring apart from the crashes. From what I have seen from track cycling at these Games, the events were sadly forgettable for me apart from that amazing men's team pursuit final. Road cycling wins this round, it was far more entertaning.

Huge crash....

This crash and fact that such fighter like :POL Pikulik couldnt continue the competition (problems with breathing) perfectly sums up our terrible, just 5 medals, (besides athletics) Olympics. Im worried that in Paris we wont be better in other than athletics sports...

You mean he didn't need to knock anyone over or have the race restarted because he wasn't going to win (still bitter!)

Someone in the back really should have deliberately caused a crash (by accident, obviously) given how obviously gold was gone with a lap and a half left.

I guess Jennifer Valente is the most hated person in China right now?

I may be naive, but I'm holding on to a bit of hope that people (other than federation officials or something) aren't so pathetic? :(

yeah controversial...

but if it was the other way with Wild crashing the Japanes would be DSQ immediately.

I am done with that double meter in all sports.
