Lithuanian weightlifter achieved his worst result ever in international competitions (not that he had any chances anyway as he is in the B squad), but worth noting that he used to be coached by former Lithuanian Weightlifting federation president a.k.a. Most notorious Doping guru who got arrested last year after police raided his house/his son's house/his office and found 70+ kinds of doping.

couple days ago at the same time as 96kg competition. S. Moradi lifted 230kg in training just to tell himself that was his gold medal on Fares's neck.

some media here are claiming that our WL federation made a deal with Qatar, not registering Moradi intentionally to sell that gold to Qatar :p

which is nonsense, at the time our WL federation was registering Moradi was outside of the qualification zone and we registered someone else at 109kg. but after the deadline some other athletes withdrew and other weightlifters below Moradi got the chance to compete.

    • Who wins today? Johaug and Klaebo???   No  or  flags on the start so i cheer for Jasmi Joensuu  she’s the girl to watch this season, mind my words
    • Sarcastically of course, cheering for the fact she basically received no punishment     Tennis and football are jokes in terms of combatting doping.
    • Excited as always   My main thought was "alright, only 18 countries in the women's race and apparently no wildcards for anyone, that's decent news"
