She literally moved the gate with her chin (would not be surprised if it was even on purpose) just to make sure the ref will not call it a miss and just a 2 seconds hit, she did not have the whole head inside.

 

I saw plenty of 50 seconds for even smaller and less visible cases than this one.  but if your name is Fox, you have not to worry. ICF will do everyting for you, the girl of their poster

Nice for Funk to win a medal after a) Her coach died during an accident at the 2016 olympics and b) The place where she was born (Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler) was in the epicenter of the recent floods.

Not very hidden, if you ask me.   

 

I don't follow canoe sports outside of the Olympics, but if i was the ICF, i would have her as my poster girl as well
