If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Anyone that knows: Why do the announcers say the leader is doing all the work? Aren't they all running at the same pace?

At roughly 15+ kilometers per hour, there is a bit of an advantage you gain from staying behind someone. Not as much as when the speeds are higher though, of course, I don't think it'll matter that much here.

Props for Mazuronak, let go of the group early, presumably because she felt that pace was too high for her, and caught up with most of that group later on!

I don’t think the aerodynamic advantage is huge, but there’s definitely less mental/physical ware when following someone. It’s easier to follow than to lead/run alone.
