heywoodu 13,825 Posted January 24, 2018 #91 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Still, this is getting worrying. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! dcro 10,196 Posted January 24, 2018 #92 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Great, I guess we might lose quotas thanks to our sleepy NOC. #banbestmen
Maxim Fastovsky 131 Posted January 24, 2018 #93 Share Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Americans decided to use all 22 quota's, on basically 2.5 medal hopefuls (shiffrin, vonn and possibly ligety). Our moto is give us all your quota's , we will find a way to use them Edited January 24, 2018 by Maxim Fastovsky
Dragon 1,781 Posted January 24, 2018 #94 Share Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Just been chatting to a journalist. Sabrina Simader of Kenya been told by her NOC she's going to Korea. So they've decided to accept the quota. Now the question is if they remembered to tell the FIS Edited January 24, 2018 by Dragon

The US traditionally uses the downhill training runs as an internal qualifying race, which is pretty sensible IMO. Our moto is give us all your quota's , we will find a way to use them Weird things can always happen. Just look at Andrew Weibrecht, who basically has never even been close to being a real top of the world class kind of skier (obviously he's good, but barely top-30 kind of good), yet finds himself with an Olympic bronze and silver medal at home.
