South Korea having some trouble in their sport as of late. 

They might also have a bad Olympics. Other than archery I don't see where a lot of other medals should come from...

Congrats to Italy :yes and Tunisia and also Spain and Thailand on the women's side.

 

once again Olympic Taekwondo proved to be a completely different thing than other tournaments.

Damn, maybe he had an easy draw, but the Italian went through his route to the final so easily. After he defeated our boy by 13 points in the first round I didn't expect that it will be the Italian's closest match up until the final. :d

nope, it wasn't really "easy", Guzman is a 2019 World medalist and your boy is a future star in this sport, Vito is just too good today.

      However, defeats to Lithuania, or probably to Estonia, shouldn't have happened at home- if they had taken this tournament seriously, allowed their players to train at this hockey arena, etc. Secondly, Hungary, France and Austria, for example, have never lost to Lithuania in any age group. Do you ever remember that Slovakia losing to Lithuania in any age group in history?   And now we are, losing to rivals with a population the size of Milan? And with no hockey tradition whatsoever, like Slovakia or even Latvia. Another thing is that Ukraine, a country at war for four years, is beating us in most of the youth age groups lately and increasingly among the seniors. To me, these things are unimaginable.
