But on red it's always those who were best in qualifying, isn't it sort of normal to have significantly more winners on the course that's used by the faster athletes?

Surely the gaps were much tighter in the qualifications.

 

And surely it's not normat to have 1-8 seeds all qualify for QF in men's, and 1-4 seeds all qualify for SF in both.
