:QAT Max gets a five place grid penalty for ignoring yellows, and Bottas gets a three place grid penalty for ignoring yellows

Hamilton, Gasly, Alonso, Norris, Sainz, Bottas, Verstappen. Perez P11

As now we come across the world
To share these Games of old
Let all the flags of every land
In brotherhood unfold

Well, Hamilton's win was NID and Verstappen needed five laps to grab second. The rest was history but the race had some overtaking against the odds.

As usual, no luck for Bottas :p

At least it was kind of interesting at times behind the top-2 :d

Alonso! :cheer:

We've also now reached the situation where the championship can be decided in the very next race. If Verstappen wins it and Hamilton does not get a top-6 finish, or if Verstappen finishes second and Hamilton does not score, the championship is over. Neither are likely, but on a street circuit...weirder things have happened.

I dont think that Verstappen will be able to win any other race in this season. So, he will neer a bit of lucky to get this championship.

As you said, maybe in the next circuit, a new one and street, we might have a surprise.

Hamilton is probably the favourite in both races indeed, but it's definitely not a done deal yet. Maybe for basically the first time this year, a tiny bit of luck will fall the way of Verstappen instead of Hamilton :d

Jeddah does seem like a track where a small mistake can be the end of your race (or qualifying), and so far, Hamilton has definitely been the more inconsistent driver this year. Besides, he does still need to catch up. We'll see, at least it's already historical to simply have the fact that a Dutchman could take the freaking world title (!) in the next race :hyper:

Hamilton could have gotten himself in quite a world of trouble. Ignored double yellow and blocked not one, but two drivers in separate incidents during today's practice session. The double yellow thing ended up with a five position grid penalty for Verstappen in the last race, exact same kind of incident, so that should be quite a clear decision. Then it's a matter of seeing whether those five positions for Hamilton will be all of the situations with Gasly and especially Mazepin will bite him as well...

    • There are things I find pathetic, but saying a competition is unnecessary right after you don't qualify for it is the typical display of a loser. Pietro Maschio, when Conegliano qualifies for the Club World Cup next time, should refuse to participate like the Polish clubs do and stop spouting nonsense.

    • No surprise — it’s the result of months of controversy, including media backlash. It all started with the federation’s decision not to select Romei, who is very close to Costantini, for the Olympic Games, and to call up Rebecca Mariani instead. In recent months, the Romeo/Costantini duo allegedly tried to push out Lo Deserto as well, and these are the results…
