Oh you mean the format, I thought the result  (because it was Archibald - Cure - Wild, but that changed well after the race so Cure lost silver)

 

No idea, I guess because they wanted to make an omnium that's not really an omnium anymore

Olympic program in tracl cycling is just unbelieveably stupid - and omnium is a product of that.

 

Only 50% of regular events are contested. Why? Since they already have to build a super expensive velodrome, might just as well use it!

 

Individual pursuit virtually wouldn't require any new quotas, for example...
