Tentoglou had a WL with a big jump of 8.60. Jacobs didn't even have WL.

 

Tentoglou also won gold at the European Indoor Championships in 2021 (I know Jacobs did as well).

Gold with a WL at 60m, if having a WL matters so much. And 1 more Olympic gold.

 

Point is they had a similar season- big indoor with title, big Olympics with title(s), sparse DL participation, nothing after the Olympics. So I don't agree that one doesn't belong to the list because there's more than the Olympics (apparently the only other big Championships of the year that they could attend doesn't matter) if the other is in.

The men are a few seconds behind WR pace after 15km, the leading women are well under WR schedule. Hard to say exactly how much, since the live timing is utterly awful, but they're going fast.
