OlympicsFan 791 Posted May 24, 2016 #322 Share Posted May 24, 2016 German boxing federation announced that they will try to get a wildcard for Sarah Scheurich (womens -75 kg). What are her chances? What are her chances? Germany can’t get the tripartite quota since it isn’t a tripartite nation, but should the quota not be allocated the reallocation rule is a bit vague. The rule says it would go to the next highest ranked athlete from the AOB, but the women’s events don’t have an AOB tournament. The most logical way to do this is to give it to the athlete whom finishes fifth at the world championship. With that said IMO it doesn’t look good for Germany.
