Horrible weather conditions again, it’s turned into a year for the only the most spherical marbles.  Got to feel sorry for Crazy Cat’s Eye, ended up at a dead stop just 2cm short of the line, completely caked in sand.

Dry track conditions, and back to the classic Doornse Gat piste and what happens? Quality comes to the top!  A classic charging run from Red Number 3 and a return to the podium in second place.  Still plenty time to turn this around for the overall.

The bad news: last Sand Rally race before the Winter Break!  

 

The good news: Marbula 1 [ie Formula 1, but you’ll get sued for calling it that] is back on 7 November.

Added in an extra - round 5/6 - Marbulla E race as well.  From New York City, so a twisty urban track.

What is wrong with this conveyor belt? Speedy was losing there all the time - since Q2 through the entire race until his accident. Is it only in Minty Mania or will we see it in the next Marbula One races?

I knew there was some actual technical issues when they constructed the track (gates wouldn’t drop, then something else), but they claimed to have fixed all that.

 

Each track is constructed differently, but I think the conveyor belt is the same for the whole season.
