Women’s Halfpipe postponed until tomorrow apparently.

If the final can’t be held in time the final ranking would be in accordance of qualification results, so:

Gold :GBR Atkin

Silver :CHN Li

Bronze :CAN Sharpe

Is that likely, I know it happens at world cups a lot but at the Olympics?

It’s happened a couple times at worlds. We’ve had the final pre-emptively cancelled once (women’s snowboard slopestyle in 2018).

As for how likely… depends on the weather tomorrow I guess. In 2022 they ran the men’s ski half-pipe final in some pretty horrible wind conditions.

I seem to remember ski jumping & nordic combined events being run in conditions that would not be acceptable at World Cups.

START LIST of the W Halfpipe Final

Sharpe said she is not medically cleared to compete. I doubt that will clear by tomorrow.

Deromedis did today what Fischnaller, Sighel, Giacomel and Ghiotto should have done before - then we would have been on medal tabel not only ahead of the Netherlands but also of the USA... - also a big lesson in humility for the USA, because they are still a long way to Norway in the winter games and the announcements were that they wanted to be in 1st place.
