He had a gold medal as easily as Lucas had in the Giant Slalom. It's like a dream that slipped through his fingers.

Atle  Those moments of his frustration and walking away towards the woods will be equally as shown & remembered as the race medalists. 

 

Don't know if the big margins from run 1 psyched him that he only needs to finish and the medal/win was his. The more you think "don't screw this up" the more mentally it gits you.
