At least he scored above 14 points, unlike Corral... but seeing this subdivision scores, makes me suspicious about fair judging. As I commented earlier, Larduet didn't perform his vault correctly (if at all, he just bounced without maintaning any position and landed on his knees) and still managed a score over 13 points :mumble:

It's effectively over for Ude. He was just here to compete on pommel horse (and he worked all year on all-around just to qualify for Rio). Very very bitter ending.

Sad indeed that he underperforms in the most important competition  Corral still has to perform on parallel bars, but I'm not holding any hope.

Our team made the final, but our two medal contenders Nguyen (parallel bars) and Bretschneider (high bar) missed the final, great first day for Germany. Engleder dropped from 2nd to 4th with her last shot and our swimmers are drowning again, like they did in 2012. Jung also is very unlikely to win the gold in eventing. I wouldnt be sad if they would end the olympics now, with all the doping, criminality, health issues and so on. I am already looking forward to 2020 olympics, they should be much better.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

I completely agree; they're the worst Olympics since Moscova 1980

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?
