These are olympic champions in certain events.

Imagine that all these champions are on the top of their game at the very same moment in time.

Who would have won gold?

here we go...back to basics! :d

men's Alpine Skiing, Super-G...despite :NOR K.A. Aamodt won 3 times, :AUT Hermann Meier is da man, the best SG specialist of all times...I have to go with him

women's Alpine Skiing, Super-G...very difficult choice, as we have to compare different ages in this discipline, starting from basically a slightly faster GS and coming to basically a DH with a few more turns...I go with the GOAT in the modern era kind of SG, :SUI Lara Gut-Berhami

men's Biathlon, Pursuit...given that the best biathlete ever hasn't won a pursuit gold yet, my sympathy goes to the other Norwegian great, :NOR Ole Einar Bjoerndalen (despite :FRA M. Fourcade has 2 wins against 1 in this particular discipline)

women's Biathlon, Pursuit...she's only won once, but she's the undisputable GOAT in this game, so the obvious choice is :GER Magdalena Neuner

women's Short Track Speedskating, 500m...Arianna the GOAT, 4 consecutive times on the podium, Gold in the last 2, :ITA Arianna Fontana is the only possible choice

I disagree with Fontana being the only possible choice here, :CHN Wang Meng was absolutely dominant in her 2006 and 2010 wins, would have been a contender again in 2014 but for injury and also has accomplished much, much more than Fontana in world championships (Fontana has never won the world championships over 500m, while Meng has won it six times).

The only blemish on Meng’s career is that she never came back after her ankle injury.

yeah, but you know...I'm a bit biased when it comes down to Arianna :p

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
