And is there a schedule of events somewhere? Which finals are on Fri? Which ones on Sat or Sun?

schedule of events is always the same, you can look at the previous round and see how normally things go

no finals on Friday (qualifications of all events only), medal sessions are always only on Saturday and Sunday (alternating men and women's distances on the 2 days, mixed relay normally ends on Sunday)

The full schedule in shorttrack always appears very late, like the day/evening before the first day. So tomorrow evening, you should see it here:

Lots of drama in the women’s 3000m A-Final…

Canada and South Korea were neck-and-neck with 9 laps to go, with China-Poland-Kazakstan way behind, but then disaster struck as the Polish skater contacted the Chinese skater from behind, and the Chinese skater injured herself so they stopped the race with 7 laps to go and she got stretchered off the ice. Poland ended up getting penalized, and a restart occured. On the second go, with 7 laps to go, the Chinese skater collided with the South Korean skater, and both went down, Canada avoided it and ended up winning the gold while China got penalized.

Awesome to see :KAZ on the podium :yes

    • Things happened too fast, surprised everybody. the future is so unpredictable. so far these groups are trying to act properly but so did Taliban at first. we will see their true color in next few weeks/months.   Bashar Asad was a murderer and criminal but he wasn't extremist. these guys can be both murderer and extremist. but there are lots of groups involved. still it's not totally clear who will get the power ultimately. it's highly possible to see a war between these groups   Turkey is sponsoring some (most) of these groups, so the future will be hard for the Kurds too. Turkey will push these groups to conquer the Kurdish parts too.   but I think the regime in Iran was the biggest loser here, they spent billions of dollars (at least 30 according to rumors) to keep this piece of crap in power. he was supposed to pay it back someday. now they have to rethink their strategy, everything if falling apart for them. (which is not necessarily a bad thing to be honest)    anyway it was a very hard few years for the Syrian people and the future doesn't look brighter. I just hope I'm wrong and something good comes out of this.  maybe these guys have really changed  Syrian people suffered a lot already.
    • Assad hasn`t had support in his country for many years - he was saved by Russia 10 years ago. The prolonged war in Ukraine meant that Putin had to withdraw his troops from Syria and abandon his former ally. I think that Assad can only hold a grudge against Putin. By the way the regime in Syria turned out to be just as weak as the Afghan government supported by the US in Kabul. Both regimes fell very quickly without the help of foreign powers. So what can be written? Should I feel sorry for the dictator Assad because he was so weak that he fell without Putin's help? I don't care. In the case of refugees, they will probably have to go through Turkey, so Erdogan can block them - probably for the right money from the EU.

    • Afraid so.  When you have an revolution made up of an alliance of psychos & westernised liberals, the psychos will always win.
    • One of the strongest proves that contemporary politicans all over the world are just plain braindead is their welcoming of this ousting. Asad wasnt the nicecest politican but he is replaced by hardcore islamists. I am sad that in just few months another wave of Syrians will overflow Europe.
