And is there a schedule of events somewhere? Which finals are on Fri? Which ones on Sat or Sun?

schedule of events is always the same, you can look at the previous round and see how normally things go

no finals on Friday (qualifications of all events only), medal sessions are always only on Saturday and Sunday (alternating men and women's distances on the 2 days, mixed relay normally ends on Sunday)

The full schedule in shorttrack always appears very late, like the day/evening before the first day. So tomorrow evening, you should see it here:

Lots of drama in the women’s 3000m A-Final…

Canada and South Korea were neck-and-neck with 9 laps to go, with China-Poland-Kazakstan way behind, but then disaster struck as the Polish skater contacted the Chinese skater from behind, and the Chinese skater injured herself so they stopped the race with 7 laps to go and she got stretchered off the ice. Poland ended up getting penalized, and a restart occured. On the second go, with 7 laps to go, the Chinese skater collided with the South Korean skater, and both went down, Canada avoided it and ended up winning the gold while China got penalized.

Awesome to see :KAZ on the podium :yes

    • Yup, very nice to see Finland on the podium after so many years since Makarainen's retirement   Thought this would happen, just didn't expect it so soon and kinda leaned more towards the men's team.   On the other hand, it feels like Preuss is one of the unluckiest biathletes of all time. Not to mention the fact that she is sick every season, she might be up there for most 4th and 5th place finishes of all time and I can guarantee that many of them were lost podiums by just a second
    • They had it on the program for 2014 so Russia could win more gold, but dropped it in favour of big air. But having this event doesn't add any cost as the athlete's are already there
