And it’s all over!

Peterman/Gallant cap off their unbeaten week with a win in the final and are going to the Olympics!! :cheer:

I mean, they do still need to grab the quota for Canada :P

They were the best team all week, especially impressive that they beat Homan and Botcher convincingly twice (the score of the final is a bit deceptive). They are going to be a big contender in Cortina.

Great fun watching this the last few days. Let's see if this strategy for early selection works for Milan 2026.

Homan is very likely going to be there for the women anyway, but we'll see.

Realistically, I think there’s about a 5% chance they don’t by World Championships, and about a 0.01% chance at all, because well it’s Peterman/Gallant… but yeah you’re right.

I know you must be super happy with the result, I believe you were rooting for them from the beginning? :d (I was too)

Yep, women’s trials will (hopefully too, because of how dominant they are) be boring in terms of the winner, but you never know what’ll happen. Men’s trials has Gushue, Jacobs, McEwen, and Dunstone all in contention.

Yup! Other than the :NBR teams, who realistically had no shot, they were my favorites.

And I think Curling Canada will be pretty happy with this result as well.
