Well first of all :NED Van De Velde…  and Immers (nothing against Immers, just his questionable decision to partner up with him)

Then…

:USA Nyjah Huston - Skateboarding

:BRA Ana Patricia Silva Ramos (not Duda) - Beach Volleyball

:AUS Taliqua Clancy ** (not Mariafe) - Beach Volleyball

:USA Kelly Cheng (not Hughes) - Beach Volleyball

:LAT Jelena Ostapenko - Tennis

:BRA Tiago Seyboth Wild - Tennis

:BRA Beatriz Haddad Maia - Tennis

:GRE Stefanos Tsitsipas - Tennis

:ITA Sara Errani - Tennis

:TUR Ebrar Karakurt - Volleyball (almost forgot about her)

:GBR Tom Dean - Swimming

:GER Alexander Zverev - Tennis

:FRA Corvee/Labar and Popov/Popov - Badminton (nothing against the athletes…)

:FRA Krou/Gauthier-Rat - Beach Volleyball

:FRA Chamereau/Viera - Beach Volleyball

** Fun fact, I started disliking her a couple of days ago when she cursed the ref during their qualifying game at the Gstaad Elite16. Ref couldn’t understand it, but still not cool

I gotta say it. The only kilometer I know about is the one these two can run one tenth of faster than anyone else on earth.

I’m not much of a patriot, slept in on the July 4 celebrations yesterday, but the moment one of these American heros tops that Parisian podium I will briefly be the most insufferable person on this website in celebration. That’s a fact, that’s a promise. They both represent the dreams of this nation and represent the best in the American spirit.

I understand things are subjective but your hate towards Ana Patricia is kinda ridiculous at this point...

Basically anyone from :CHN & :USA (nothing personal with the athletes but seeing someone from these countries win always feels like some bureaucratic action with no emotion taking place).

And a few arrogant europeans here and there, as usual.

I wouldn’t really call it “hate” because I don’t hate her. That being said, I’m not the biggest fan of her either. ;)

The only athlete on this list that I hate is Van De Velde.

Edit: and Karakurt.

To explain on Ana Patricia, 1. most of the time she doesn’t seem she’s trying (you could say the same for Duda, but to a lesser extent) and 2. she rarely if not ever smiles. It’s like playing beach volleyball is a chore for her, she doesn’t look like she’s enjoying it. There’s no reason why she shouldn’t be hammering the majority of her attacks into the sand, and yet she doesn’t.

You have mentioned multiple times now that you don't like her, which is fine, I just find strange that you included her on a list with dopers, arrogant people (Ostapenko for sure) and criminals :p

I think you mean hectometer.

It makes 0 sense lol

Its a double and he is in favour of one and hate the another one.

Is he supportining a draw in a sport that is a draw inst possible? Lol teenager things...

I wouldn't call it hate, but that Brazilian skateboarding girl who every single time reacts as if she just can't believe it at the moment she gets her medal (and it's long clear she won). I can not stand her reactions, it's one of the reasons I don't think I'll be watching that event :p (but I definitely don't wish a bad result upon her or anything)

Actual hate...no, I don't feel that towards any athlete I think now that Mekhissi isn't competing (and Richard Kilty, I think). Definitely won't be cheering for certain athletes, like I would be far from sad if Novak Djokovic is out early. No hate, just very much not a fan and would probably prefer every single other player as winner :p

In terms of Dutch athletes I'm sure I'll start having some negative feelings in the women's road race at some point, but also no hate towards anyone in the entire team across all sports.

    • Canoe Sprint There is a now a cap of 5 athletes per gender in the kayak events (down from 6 in 2024). The World Championships has been replaced by the Olympic Qualification Rankings.   K2 lost 2 boat quotas while K4 has gained 1 boat quota. Quota distribution is quite complicated as it usually is for canoe sprint. They also force nations to compete in a minimum number of events based on the number of athletes qualified; 2 and 3 athletes per boat class must compete in 2 events, 4 must compete in all 3 events and 5 must compete in all 3 events and have two entries in the K1 event.
    • Wrestling will have a completely new format, I do not like the changes. ranking isn't really a good idea in this sport, this will force wrestlers to compete in so many events to collect points. which is not good for their health. specially with the current UWW ranking points distribution system which is plain stupid   they are also gifting 18 quotas to very weak countries by that last qualification event. but I understand their point of view. can't wait to see lots of Russian wrestlers compete for weak countries for that 1 available quota.
    • Canoe Slalom Quotas from men's/women's K1 have been moved to men's/women's KX1. K1 will now have 14 quotas while KX1 will have 10 quotas. C1 remains at 17 quotas. Athletes may participate in other events up to a maximum of 2 athletes per NOC.   The World Championship qualifier has been dropped in favour of the Olympic Qualification Rankings (7 K1, 10 C1, 3 KX1), afterwards you have the Continental Qualifiers (1 per boat) and then a new Global Qualifier (2 per boat).   There were a few changes regarding ways to ensure an athlete can only obtain 1 quota. The biggest being at each stage the boat priority is K1 > KX1 > C1 for the rankings and KX1 > K1 > C1 for the continental/global qualifiers. This basically means if the same athlete qualifiers in multiple boats then the quota will be given to the kayak over canoe.
    • I'll post significant changes periodically. I'll start with the recently added/updated documents.   Archery The addition of mixed compound (12M & 12W) forced a reduction on the recurve side. The mixed compound quotas are distributed as follows   Host - 1 World Championships - 3 Continental Games - 5 World Ranking List - 2 Final Qualifier - 1   To compensate the team events will now only have 8 nations. 2 quotas were removed from the World Ranking List and 2 were removed from the Final Qualifier.   Individual recurve and mixed recurve distribution is the same
    • In Rome, it would be useful to roof the swimming pool complex at Foro Italico, possibly with the option of retracting the roof and covering the tennis court complex. Overall, there's a lot to do, for example, compared to Budapest, but unfortunately, this is Italy How many years has Roma been building their new stadium, and they keep pushing back the completion date- now I read it's 2030? and it should be ready. The same goes for Milan- there should be a modern complex of indoor swimming pools with 50 meters pools, etc., but there's a problem with one stupid football stadium, which will only be built after an ultimatum from UEFA
