Is now a good time to point out that the winner of the men's ranking round has never won the individual Olympic gold?

Only other one is the shooting element of biathlon, where women are regularly better using same equipment.  It might be down to an advantage in shooting position stability through a different body shape.

The difference is also fairly minor in ultra endurance sports.

Keep calm, in 1x1 is almost another sport, nothing is lost yet.
