Ukraine asks IOC to investigate russian Russian and Belarusian wrestlers

I would say, this demand is fair enough.

Let`s imagine - Sadulvaev "wins quota". But later he is to be potentially disallowed by the IOC`s commission.

What about the rights of the athletes in his half of bracket? Ok, the IOC will redistribute the license to the man who lost to him in the Semifinal, for example.

But the entire bracket would be totally different without him.

53 kg, Andreea Ana is reigning European champion (3x) and you put her in last spot of the list :)

As @Josh said it's not in order which is fine just to give us idea of top wrestler.

Even if he put her at the end in order he would be right. Andreaa Ana is a 3 time European Champion in 55kg, not 53kg. Can't see her qualifying for the games though.

Abdulrashid Sadulaev is out of Euro qualifiers. His name had been replaced with Zhabrailov who is still good enough to win the quota but far from guaranteed

Thats pathetic

I think that is a good decision. In case Sadulaev proved ineligible later Russia will not lose a quota in what is already a very small squad for games.

IOC bars Russian freestyle wrestler and two-time Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev from participating in Olympic qualificaiton. Sadulaev participated in rallies in support of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

    • Today is a day without Italians in the leads positions. I`m worried that they are not trying to revive this our sprint. There is only one Bosa and he is old. Pergher is young but she is also only one. It is a pity. After the Olympics they will probably 100% give up on the entire sprint. Our medal bag in Cortina will depend 90% on Ghiotto, just like it did on Fabris in Turin 2006. If Ghiotto will be in goodshape, he can even win 2 individual golds + a team medal. If not, it will be a flop. Apart from him, only Lollobrigida can compete in the mass start and possibly Giovannini in the men's mass start.

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
