She competed earlier this month on the road - I think she did the Boston mile a couple of weeks ago and did the 5k event at the Paris marathon at the start of April but her last track race was probably in July last year. RussB 44 Posted April 27 #125 Share Posted April 27 Both bits of news are very promising. Dina has been looking more like her old self in the early season … 22.29 is a solid marker in April to be putting down. Curious to see what Amber can do this weekend. Rafa Maciel 1,336 Posted April 27 Author #126 Share Posted April 27 Jade O'Dowda's quest to get the OQS in the heptathlon takes a bit of a knock after a 13.87 in the 100m hurdles. She's looks to be in great form but was running into a 2.8m/s headwind. It's difficult to see how she can get the standard now without PBing in a couple of events. Rafa Maciel 1,336 Posted April 27 Author #128 Share Posted April 27 Conditions in Brescia seem to be getting worse. O'Dowda manages just 1.74m in the high jump. The OQS drifts further out of reach but she is still in with shout of hitting UKA standard.

Gives her the OQS - wonder if she will want to double up in Paris.
