Kopecky wins the Strade Bianchi. Disastrous racing from Elisa Longo Borghini....it's amazing how someone can be in the world of pro cycling for this long and still just not understand the very basics of the tactical game....she just simply gave the win to Kopecky :d

Watching the Paris-Roubaix just now. What strikes me is the sheer number of mobile home owners who have chosen to park beside giant piles of manure.

Oooh yes, we might have one of those classics again.....Lorena Wiebes sprinted for the win in the Amstel Gold Race and celebrated....but it was too early and Marianne Vos passed her on the line :d:cheer:

I keep wondering how someone can act so unmeasurably dumb as a pro cyclist (and the best sprinter in the world, mind you) :d

Fantastic analysis by Annemiek van Vleuten on TV: Wiebes' jump wasn't good enough......yeah, possibly because her hands were in the air

Marianne Vos herself is mostly showing sympathy for Wiebes, which once again - as we've seen for years - shows how wonderful a person Vos is and always has been.

Beautiful victory for Kasia Niewiadoma in the Fleche Wallone, after already finishing 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd in her career, finally she takes the win, her first in almost five years :cheer::bowdown:

WTF! :yikes:

Elisa Balsamo! :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

lucky she's only got a broken nose and a concussion, it could have been a lot worse

unfortunately, this injury will give her a lot of troubles in the remainder of the season and most likely it will cost :ITA more than 1 Olympic medal between road and track (even if she'll be able to participate to the Games, she won't be in the best shape of her life for sure)

this is the video of Today's crash at the Vuelta Burgos

    • poir Madsen had a very unlucky debut at the CWC he seriously injured himself (dislocated shoulder and possible concussion) in an attempt to save a boundary in the very early stages of Today' match vs Scotland   moreover, Italy lost badly against the Scots, allowing them to score 207 runs in the 1st innings (it took 14 overs to get the 1st wicket) and going well short chasing that score (we immediately saw that today wasn't the day when our lead batsman went out at the very 1st ball thanks to an amazing but improbable catch by a Scottish fielder)   in all this, a couple of highlights to be recorded: Hasan Ali with a very efficient bowling performance (5.25 economy, 1 wicket) and Harry Manenti with good 52 runs in just over 30 balls with the bat
    • The Italian team has already achieved a better result than the Chinese team in 2022 at home. The Italian team has made enormous progress since 2023, when we were still losing to Korea and Poland. Of course, this is mainly due to naturalizations, but China did the same. It's one of the few sports that have made significant progress before these Olympics and this is how it should be in most disciplines at home games.
